We are pleased to invite architects and surveyors to submit their finest work for recognition in the Church Architecture Awards 2025. The awards are:
The King of Prussia Gold Medal Award
Honouring outstanding church conservation or repair work, this award is presented to the architect responsible for the winning project. The recipient will receive and hold for twelve months, the highly esteemed King of Prussia Gold Medal and be asked to deliver an online lecture to EASA members and other sector representatives, before receiving a replica Gold Medal at the following awards’ ceremony. The winning church or chapel will also be awarded a £500 prize.
The Presidents’ Award
Recognising exceptional new church buildings, re-orderings, extensions, or alterations to existing church structures, this award is granted to the designer. The recipient will be asked to deliver an online lecture to EASA members and other sector representatives. The winning church or chapel will receive a unique Chalice and Paten on loan to hold and use for twelve months and a £500 prize.
Young Church Architect or Surveyor of the Year Award
This special award highlights the talent of an architect or surveyor under the age of 40 who was responsible for a scheme entered in either the King of Prussia Gold Medal Award or the Presidents’ Award categories. The recipient will receive a beautifully crafted stained glass roundel to hold for twelve months and a £250.00 prize. The recipient will also be asked to deliver an online lecture to EASA members and other sector representatives about their work on the project.
